The Note

It was the end of my sophomore year of high school and the end of a school-year long romance. An up-and-down, go round-and-round romance.

I cried a lot. I must have, because he gave me a box of tissues along with a small give for my 16th birthday. What a guy.

By the end of the year, we were barely speaking because he was avoiding me. I had to go to a girl friend in the group to find out what was going on. Evidently the fall was coming soon.

He expressed in words (his and evidently others), what he couldn’t say to me directly –

The Note

We broke up not long after, without me draining the DNA out of my body to become someone more suitable in his eyes.

I am a collector of family history - pictures, stories, facts - whatever I can get my hands on. I share that at It's All About Family. I started Thoughts From the Passenger Seat because I have a lot on my mind! It started riding on the back of my husband's motorcycle and on business appointments but I don't do much of either anymore but the thoughts are still there. I enjoy writing and I hope you find something that you connect with on either of my blogs. Thoughtsfromthepassengerseat.blog - Thoughts From the Passenger Seat NancyB422.com - It’s All About Family
